See you there!

Have you been parade planning with your cohorts this year? Or scheduling some professional firework viewing with the fam? Maybe you’re planning a real salute to independence with a peaceful solo celebration; we all need that too! However you plan to celebrate, the 4th of July always seems like an occasion when some apps are in order. And Keli’s can make serving delicious ones as easy as the pie someone else is bringing to the potluck! All of the recipes can be made gluten-free using one of our delicious teriyaki sauces.

Hawaiian Nachos

Seriously, who doesn’t love nachos? Keli’s Teriyaki Sauce gives these ones a unique, teriyaki twist that will raise your nacho game from a 10 to a 12. The people over at Bake This Our Daily Bread recommend them for munching on while porch-sitting, but they taste just as good while mingling and snacking!

Char-Broiled Teriyaki Steak Bites

One of the things that makes Keli’s Hawaiian so great is there there’s really no need to marinate meat on the grill. Just baste it for the last 5 minutes it’s cooking and you’ll add a tropical flavor that will turn heads. Couldn’t be easier. Pop some toothpicks in these steak bites and you’re good to go.

“Pele’s Fire” Steak and Chicken Party Bobs

They’re named “Party Bobs” for a reason! Match the level of spice you add to the rowdiness of your crowd with a combination of Keli’s Ginger Garlic Teriyaki Glaze and Pele’s Fire Hot Teriyaki Sauce.

Kale and Carrot Salad with Pumpkin Seeds

You don’t want anyone to feel left out, so try not to forget about your vegetarian guests! By massaging the Kale you get a supple source of serious nutrition and with Keli’s Polynesian Sweet and Sour Sauce you get a tangy side dish that EVERYONE will love.

Dad works hard; that’s just one of the many reasons you love him. Father’s Day is coming and he deserves acknowledgement and a break. And what better way is there to encourage some well-earned R&R than a tropical vibe?! If your dad is a master of the grill, Keli’s Sauces make the perfect gift, but if he perfers not to be the “holder of the tongs,” here are some ideas on how to show your love with a special meal.

Alaskan Cod with Keli’s Teriyaki Sauce

Follow this recipe and create this delicious meal with fresh or frozen Alaskan Cod. Or, if your’s is the fisherman-dad type, adjust this recipe to his catch of the day!

Teriyaki Chicken and Pineapple Sandwich

Personalize this one to your dad’s spice-O-meter with Keli’s Hawaiian Ginger Garlic Teriyaki Glaze or Keli’s Halwaiian Spicy Ginger Garlic Glaze. If you plan to cook out, throw the chicken on the grill before you sandwich i!

Jimbo’s “Fire on the Grill” Beef Kabobs

Jimbo’s is the father of this recipe, and like the sandwich above, it can be adjusted to your dad’s palate. If there are kids attending your Father’s Day party, they can be helpful kabob-assemblers. Just like dad said, put them to work!

Teriyaki Glazed Ham with Pineapple

Short of burying a pig in your yard, this recipe is built to impress. Imagine your dad’s face when you present this perfectly browned & glazed Hawaiian ham at your Father’s Day table.

Hawaiian Luau Crock Pot Chicken

If you have a special activity planned on Father’s Day, this slow-cooker recipe will assure that dinner is ready and delicious as soon as you arrive home. You will prove to him that you were listening when he said to “always be prepared!”

He also taught you to be thrifty, so stock up on Kelli’s 3 and 5 pack gift sets now and shipping is free!

Happy Father’s Day!

The crew at Keli’s Hawaiian Sauce Company was at the 2015 FSA Food Show at the Portland Oregon Expo Center this year sampling our delicious line of sauces.  We love to do food shows because it’s a great opportunity to meet the chefs and restaurant owners that use our sauce on a daily basis.  We are always blown away to find out how many restaurants use our sauce line that we didn’t know about.  Chefs from around the country love to use our Keli’s Hawaiian Teriyaki Baste and Glaze as their “secret ingredient” on fish, poultry, stir fry, burgers, and even pizza!  We also received a lot of great feedback from chefs about our new Pele’s Fire Spicy Teriyaki Sauce.  Customers love the flavor but be warned this one is for HOT LOVERS ONLY because it’s pretty spicy.  A big thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth this year and sampled our sauces.  Congratulations to Boppin Bo’s Malt Shop for winning our FREE basket of sauce Give-A-Way!
